Welcome to my website. My name is Liam.

I recently completed a Master’s degree at l’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) within the Laboratory for Imagery, Vision, and Artificial Intelligence (LIVIA), under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Toews.

My Master’s research focused on analyzing the structure of learned convolutional kernels, with the aim of better understanding how information propagates through convolutional neural networks in image space. Through this work, I seek to contribute mechanistic insights into the behavior of CNNs.

Prior to my graduate studies, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science from ÉTS in 2020.

While I am broadly interested in machine learning and deep learning, my primary research focus is computer vision. I am currently seeking a PhD position. Thank you for visiting my website, and feel free to reach out if you would like to connect or discuss potential research opportunities.
